    Loved the stay here. Staff were good. Room was BIG. Calm, quiet and in the middle of the town centre. Loved the stay.

    Great value for money. Fantastic location, short walk to the main street and food venues. Disappointed with pool, not what I call heated and no hand rails to assist getting in or out. Nice sized rooms

    This was my 4th (I think) stay. Previous visits were memorable for all the right reasons. This 3 night visit is memorable for all the wrong reasons. Lukewarm shower (owner has promised to get this fixed) Some of the cutlery & crockery not properly cleaned No complimentary bottled water. Could only use tap water unless I went and bought some. Shower recess glass covered in soap scum. Broken power point switch in kitchen area. Tea towel was probable clean bu t was old and worn. Just not a good look. Door lock is loose. It locks ok but need to wiggle key to get it to unlock/lock. Positive note- Bed was very comfortable and the linen appeared fresh and clean. I complained to the owner abot all this. He apologised and offered to refund 1 night's accomodation. I declined because I didn't want to accept potential payola. I will be back to Halls Gap but definitely not to Pinnacle Lodge. Relatively new owners I think. Previous owners were fantastic- and were on site!
