About this house rental
Villa Bon Bida is right on the Curaçao's Spanish Water bay with a private pier, deck and pergola with breathtaking views of Curaçao's famous Tafelberg. It's an isolated spot for rest and relaxation - your own private slice of paradise! You will love the fresh breezes off the water, relaxing in the hammocks with a good book and enjoying a coffee at sunrise, or your favorite drink at sunset or under the stars on the deck at night.
After leisurely waking up, you can enjoy the morning breeze while having breakfast on the deck under the pergola or in our cozy breakfast nook. If you are up early enough, you can catch the amazing sunrise with a coffee sitting on the pier or in the hammock under the pergola. Afterwards, you can catch up on your reading while relaxing in one of our hammocks. If you want to be more adventurous, you can take a car to experience the many attractions Curaçao has to offer. Be sure to get back to the house in time to pour your favorite drink and capture the magical transition the views take at sunset.
Can you picture yourself here? We can accommodate you! The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and can sleep a total of 6 people. This is our private beach house that we are sharing with guests when we are not there, so we only provide what we would want for ourselves!
We ask for a minimum of 5 nights, with discounts for weekly and monthly rentals.
If you rent our car, we will pick you up at the airport and tell you about the "must see" spots on the island! If you don't rent our car, we do recommend that you rent a car from an agency to get around if you would like to leave the house to replenish supplies or even just to see the local area because there is nothing within walking distance of the house and no mass transportation close by.
To give you an idea of distances, the closest grocery store is around 5-10 minutes away by car. The Jan Thiel beach area, which has four restaurants, from casual to upscale, as well as beach bars and shopping, is around 5-10 minutes away by car. The downtown "Punda" area, where the historic "handelskade" is located, is around a 15 minute drive from the house. You will find shopping, restaurants, bars and the cinemas there as well. If you are into golf, check out Old Quarry, which is around 15 minutes away in the other direction. So, you are basically within a 10 to 15 minute drive of most everywhere you'd like to go!
If you want to check out the other side of the island, called "banda abou" (literally meaning "other side"), it will take you around 30-45 minutes, depending on how far you want to go.

The property is so beautiful. Relaxing location. Great views and wonderful breezes. You feel like it’s your own private oasis. Close to wonderful beaches and town, you can enjoy everything and then go back and sit on the lanai and watch the sunset. Well stocked kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay in Curacao. Heather, the host, was extremely accommodating and fantastic with communication. She looked into things were we interested in before we even arrived! The house was perfect with a beautiful breeze which was very helpful as it gets hot and is pretty humid. The location was perfect! We enjoyed watching boats go in and out each day. It was a perfect stay for us!

What a beautiful, private, waterfront property! You could jump into the water right from the dock and float for hours. Heather was great to coordinate with. The property has a private gate and security system so we felt very safe. This had everything we were looking for.
