About this cabin rental
Our Possum Run Cabin was designed to just have fun and relax. Its located 1 1/2 miles from beautiful Lake Somerville State Park. Lake Somerville has fishing, biking, kayaking, hiking, boat ramps and many other things to do. Our cabin sleeps 6 people comfortably and has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa. Large smart TV for watching the sport games. Outside charcoal grill for cooking and a Full kitchen. Come and enjoy the county life with a weekend getaway under the stars. If this one is full, visit our sister cabin Deer Trail Run just across the street located in Frank and Kev RV Park. Bring your boat for the weekend and come enjoy the lake.

Perfect size for us 4 ladies on a weekend getaway. We shopped in Burton and Round Rock, went to the lake, and sat by the fire pit at night. Easy access, great communication and very clean.

My family and I really loved this cabin. The proximity to the lake is what drew us in, but when we got there, we decided we would definitely be repeat users. It was the perfect space for our family of 4 (plus dog!)
Our plans changed a bit, and we couldn’t make it in the first night of our rental. However, the owner very accommodating.
It was Father’s Day & my husband’s birthday, so we had plans to bake cupcakes one night after a day of lake fun. However, they didn’t have mixing bowls or a cupcake pan (I admit… it’s not something a lake house should typically have…) but just in case you have plans to do the same, bring your own. They do have a few Pyrex dishes that we ended up using.
Overall, it was so wonderful. We can’t wait to book again!
