Spacious 2BR+2BA apartment in the hearth of Medical Center

Good location, felt safe, and nice gym

This apartment is nice for families. We stayed January 1-3, 2025. Tho only thing you need to be aware of is that you hear everything from the apartment above from little kids running back and forth to anyone talking which means the apartment below can hear you talking. We actually enjoyed the children running above because it made us think about the small children in our family and we laughed trying to guess what they were doing as they ran back and forth. Th children usually stopped around 10:00 pm. We are grateful for Lily and her hospitality.

This apartment was perfect for our family of five. The location provided perfect access to the city and surrounding attractions. The apartment community was gorgeous— a beautiful pool, greenery, and sidewalks for walking. The apartment itself was the perfect size for what we needed and allowed our family space during our extended stay in Houston. It was quiet and easily accessible. We especially appreciated the host’s attentiveness to our needs during our visit. She was always incredibly prompt and responsive to any questions. The parking garage was a bit of a tight squeeze, but nothing crazy. Just something not be mindful of for anyone with a larger vehicle. We would definitely recommend this rental to others!

Great location in relation to the zoo, museum and dining. Check-in was a nightmare. We stayed at this location following a cruise to visit the zoo, museum and NASA. While on the cruise I received information on setting up an account with Door/Latch and separate communication from VRBO on check-in details via email and didn't realize it. So upon arrival we didn't know how to enter the property, where to park, how to enter the unit ... Just a mess. If we book through Expedia, communications should also be through Expedia. The unit itself was easy to find once we were able to figure out how to enter the parking garage and where to park (parking spaces are narrow for larger vehicles). Then we had to figure out the new app for entry. The unit was OK as far is cleanliness; floors and walls weren't clean, but the bathroom sink, toilet and tub/showers were?? Both bathrooms were large and had the shower/soaking tub combo. Bed comfort was OK, you'll great through. The pool wasn't heated and wasn't clean so we weren't able to use it. We felt safe on the property, no issues at all and all areas were well lit. Overall, we all agree this isn't a place we'd stay again.
