2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your villa community.

Absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home! Very clean and spacious. The beds were soft, washer and dryer available, and plenty of parking. Please keep in mind this property is shared similar to an A/B townhome situation, however we did not even notice. No noise through the walls or anything. Although the weather did not cooperate we enjoyed every single minute of my getaway! The area is gated. This property sits on Wild Dunes, which is very large, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. You cannot see the beach from this property but the walk would not be far at all. I do want to add as a mother of five who frequently goes on beach trips, this property would not be convenient walking to the beach with five children under the age of 15. However, for adults, as we all were it was perfect! Not too far from Mount Pleasant or Downtown Charleston (20-25 minutes) where there was tons of restaurants and shopping which we enjoyed! Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
