The location is perfect as I am an avid mountain biker and the Rawhide trail head is about a block away making it super convenient to get a ride in.The house was super clean but as others have said, it is dated. One of the two couches in the living area had some wear on it as part of the surface was peeling off but overall not a big deal. Also, some of the carpeted steps were in need of a carpet shampooing but again, not a big deal. The only gripe I had was that the trash cans were full already upon our arrival. I wish they would have been emptied out ahead of our stay. The beds were not the most comfortable but we managed. Overall the location is great, it was clean, and a nice place to spend some time. I would definitely go back but maybe bring along a mattress pad or something especially for the bed on the lower floor.

We (5 adults) shared this lodge for a week. Overall, we had a comfortable stay here. The interior is not new anymore, but for our purposes it was just fine.

Roomy cabin, good hot water, nice variety of games, puzzles and aven a piano. The kitchen oven is a push button likely from the 60s or earlier. It works.

This home was perfectly located for walks to the town. The cute coffee shop is only a couple of blocks away! Close to the lake and to the Truckee River. We loved the neighborhood and the coziness of the home. It was a perfect getaway for our family
    6.0 / 10.0
This house is located close to Tahoe City on the West Shore, so it is easy to get to the lake and the bike trails around the lake. The house has original appliances that still work, but the beds are extremely old and the three queen beds are very uncomfortable. The only beds that are somewhat comfortable are the four twin beds. The owner should replace these beds so guests can sleep well at night. There is also no outdoor furniture on the front and back decks and the barbeque is very small as well.
