Sunny Side by Atlantic Holiday

At first look, this is a sensational apartment. It is surprisingly large (even larger than it appears in the photos) and very nicely furnished. The location is amazing with two balconies almost hanging over the ocean - both with perfect sunset views. It was a genuinely lovely space to inhabit. This would be a five-star review were it not for a couple of areas that let the property down. The most significant is the bed: the mattress is very basic — more in keeping with a two or three-star hotel — and I didn't have a single good night's sleep during my stay. Investing in a quality pocket-sprung mattress would make an enormous difference. The kitchen also needs some attention. Several of the non-stick pans are heavily scratched to a degree that renders them unsafe for cooking — these should be replaced as a matter of urgency. A few key items were also missing from the equipment: measuring spoons, a measuring jug, a whisk and a proper cheese grater. I had to improvise at mealtimes, which was a minor but unnecessary frustration. That said, these are all entirely fixable issues, and the property has every potential to offer a truly faultless stay.

We love this apartment so much, we would like to come back sometime. + It would be worth replacing the vacuum cleaner with a working one. If we are going on vacation here for 2 weeks, it would be good to keep the apartment clean during that time. + The refrigerator buzzes (resonates) very loudly all night, it's annoying. I have to think really hard to find something else...

Great location, with very little traffic outside and great walks by the ocean. While minimal inside, it still had everything we needed. We hope to be back someday again.
