Our stay at Pine Haven was great. Check in was quite easy and quick. We were in Big Bear for the annual Big Bear Fun Run, a classic car show. Although there is no garage, there was covered parking for one of our cars. The cute, clean kitchen was stocked with plenty of appliances, including a panini press. Keurig, and coffee pot but no pods, coffee or tea. No salt or pepper, nothing. No foil, plastic wrap or zip lock bags. Bring everything you’ll need or plan to buy it up the hill. Also, the top shelves of the fridge froze our stuff, likely because the freezer door is missing. The house was clean and tidy. There were several tower fans, which we needed as it was hot! Upstairs is quite hot so we opened windows as soon as we arrived. Sleeping areas are all upstairs. Comfie accommodations and cute decor throughout. We would certainly stay at Pine Haven again.

My husband and I stayed here during a week in July. I really liked how close it is to the village. We even walked there one day. The cabin is very nice and cozy. Perfect for a week vacation. On check in day we did notice it was very hot inside the cabin, since it does not have AC they do have fans in every room and extra ones if needed. After opening windows and turning on fans, it did cool down. One feedback I’d like to give is maybe replace the pillows. We found the pillows to be very flat and kind of hard to sleep. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

We loved this location so much that we cam back a 2nd time! Once again this cabin was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The proximity to all of Big Bear has to offer is amazing. Communication was great and quick. We will definitely be coming back to this property again.
