This is a modern, bright, and airy garden-level unit with a large, open living, dining, and kitchen area and all the amenities you need (from WiFi to coffee grinder) to live, work, entertain, and explore Portland.
When you arrive, a large patio with built-in benches, a table, and comfortable lounge chairs greets you. Inside, an open living room, dining room, and kitchen make a perfect place to hang out with family and friends. Three bedrooms allow for sleeping for 6 people; the couch in the living room or floor futon mattress can be used for extra sleeping space. Sleep great on our all-new Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses, featuring Serta's latest pressure relief technology and HeiQ V-Block technology for a cleaner sleep surface.

This inner Northeast Portland neighborhood is one of the coolest parts of the city. Alberta Street itself is lined with galleries, boutiques, several of Portland’s top restaurants, as well as dozens of casual cafés and nightspots. Eat and drink your way down the street from Indian to Italian to Southern, slurping locally crafted coffee, beer, and ice cream. Walking distance to several live music venues, a farmer’s market (summer), an organic food co-op, and top-notch restaurants. Minutes from the airport and minutes to downtown make it the perfect home base for an amazing stay in Portland.

The house is lovely and in a fantastic location. The listing is the bottom unit of a 2-story building, but was still relatively sunny and cozy. A few things to note - the listing mentions street parking and on-premises parking. There is no on prem parking- just street parking around the area. This can be misleading for those concerned about leaving their cars unattended in busy areas. I previously had my car broken into in Portland so I was hoping to use the dedicated space in the listing. Fortunately the area is quite safe, but I would suggest updating the listing to only include the street parking. The coffee grinder was not working, so that will need to be replaced. The space is cozy and beds super comfortable. The hosts were gracious but not always quick to respond to our messages within the same day. All in all, I would recommend this space! Next time we will try to book the upstairs unit. Thank you, shift team!

A delightful house in a wonderful neighborhood! Walking distance to delicious restaurants and food trucks, a darling children’s bookstore and a coop grocery! Cute house and perfect for cooking and hanging out with both our college kids, elderly parents and dog! Enjoyed bbq on the terrace and people watching while drinking wine from a wonderful day trip to the Willamette Valley! Hope to return!

We loved everything about this place! The location is perfect for exploring the Alberta district on foot with loads of good restaurants and shops nearby. The rental itself was perfect for our plans, with an accommodating common area, comfortable beds, and cool aesthetics. Seriously, we took so many pictures to inspire projects for our respective homes. Our only regret was that we didn't utilize the outside area to its fullest. The hosts are kind and helpful, communicating with us promptly, and include discounts at local shops and eateries.
