This was a perfect spot for the two of us for our silver anniversary getaway, close to the Shawnee Wine Trail, Fern Clyffe State Park, Rendleman Orchards, and much more.House is clean, up-to-date and well furnished. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Bathroom was well supplied with towels and toiletries. Coffee nook was well stocked with caff and decaf k cups, and nice mugs. Considering this is a "pet-friendly" home, we are happy to report that we didn't find any pet hair on the furniture, or "landmines" outside.Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. No traffic.The grill is wonderful for back porch cooking, a perfect scenario to accommodate both charcoal and gas grillers (take your own charcoal and lighter fluid).We enjoyed sitting around an evening fire at the backyard fire pit (there was wood in the fire pit, but I don't know if host always intends to supply firewood?). We spent relaxing time on the back porch swing and patio furniture next to the pool. Pool was clean but we didn't use it as we aren't avid swimmers and the water was cool with fall temps.Everything was so well supplied and clear information provided that we never had a need to reach out to our host for anything!5/5 pleased to recommend this pleasant spot in God's country!

It was a great location for our staff retreat. A very relaxing time away from the busyness of life so we could focus on planning.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, pool was relaxing, fishing fun-caught 2 catfish, fires in the evening so mesmerizing. Would love to stay here again!
