VERY friendly and helpful host Estelle. The lodge is in excellent condition, clean and has all amenities needed. We were 6 adults, and that is a perfect number of visitors. 8 could work, but not more - without children.

Owners Estelle and Gerard were wonderful hosts from the start. From the booking request moment to welcoming us upon checkin and finally checking out again, they were our direct line for Q&A's about the lodge, practicallities at the house, stores in the neighbourhoods etc. The chalet was impeccable clean and a very well equipped kitchen. There was enough space for the kids to play around and for everyone to enjoy some quietness if needed. The bedrooms were all logically situated. Large kidsroom with bunkbeds downstairs, a big family room on level ground and 3 double bedrooms upstairs. Amazing pool!

The entire stay was simply superb. Estelle and Gerard are very gentle and warm hosts - we really felt welcome from the first moment. It is visible that there has been an enormous attention to details when they refurbished this house with many antique and historic elements, which creates a warm and cozy atmoshpere, even though there is plenty of space even for a group of 10+.
We ordered fresh baguette, rolls and croissants for most of our breakfasts and I can just recommend doing so - it's fresh, obviously homemade, you can change your order each day and all that for a really low price. We did not make many tours in the region - relaxing in and around the house was just enough for us to have a good time.
If there is a negative thing to say - time passes way too fast, we could have enjoyed a few more days in this awesome place!
