Luxury villa with private swimming pool 6 (to 8) people

The villa is brilliant -very modern and ideal for a family to stay in. Air conditioning in all rooms and very effective. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is downstairs which was great for one of our party who has some mobility issues. The bedroom are all very generous in size and all of the furniture in modern and in good condition. The kitchen is well equipped. The roof terrace is a great bonus - the area around the pool loses the sun late afternoon but the roof has the sun into the evening. The pool is great. It's not big but is quite deep so you are able to swim from end to end without the shallow-end being a problem. The location is good - it's about a 15 minute walk to the local Aldi or 25 minutes to Villa Martin plaza where there is a good little shop and lots of choice for food. The only issue we had was a very noisy neighbour to the rear of the property. Most afternoons we were subjected to very loud music. Then in the evening the music (not quite as loud as it was in the afternoon but still loud enough to hear throughout the house with the windows closed and shutters down) and loud talking carried on until 3-4am in the morning. This was such as shame as it has made us consider whether we would stay again and is not really something the owner can control (hence me giving the villa a high rating). We had an issue with the pool not being cleaned but that was resolved quickly when we requested it.

Was very good relaxing villa with pool

The owners of the property are great with communication, this is our 2nd stay at their villa and hopefully there will be a 3rd next year. Villa is lovely and set out really well for our family with a nice pool. The check in process isn’t that great as they didn’t know how to get the tv upstairs working and also there is a charge quite rightly if you use more than fair amount of electricity but she didn’t know where the meter was to take a photo to start our stay. But that aside we had a great stay and will be back.

We stayed July 24 for two weeks, the villa was not a true representation of the online description and pictures. The villa was filthy, the pool was cloudy and greasy, the whole place needs a full refurb and deep clean! Soraya was unhelpful, luckily the owner Sarah was great, she refunded the cleaning fee as mysister and I had to scrub everywhere, something we should not have had to do on our holiday. Would NOT recommend unless full refurb! - stains on mattress - grubby bathrooms - handles hanging off - pillows were the size of cushions - stains on sofa - stains on dining room chairs - glass dining table was disgusting -lights above diningtable has never been cleaned - bed side cabinets full of dust, i could write my name on them!!! - bbqwas full of food and ash and was unusable - outdoor area was filthy and there wasnt a hose long enough to clean - tv unit hanging off wall ( very unsafe) - flooring through out was filthy - tv in master didnt work which wasmentioned in a previous review and has still not been fixed, just shows how poor the management co is! As you can imagine we were very disappointed, however we didnt let it ruin our holiday but having to clean the whole villa was not what we expected to do on our holiday which is a shame because the villa could be lovely.
