On the whole good value for money. Great location. A lot of thought has gone into the cottage and on the whole it is very nice but a couple of issues need sorting out. When we arrived there was a strong boiler smell in the kitchen. In order to avoid this we had to keep the kitchen window open throughout the holiday. Definitely an issue there. The hob also needs replaced as one of the rings struggles to boil water.

The steadings is a beautiful property, very well equipped, lovely and clean. Location I was perfect for us. Away from the town a little but near enough for lots of sight seeing in beautiful Northumberland. Views from the garden lovely and we were fortunate enough to have a lovely clear night to get a good star and Milky Way show of the night sky.

Comfortable, spacious and clean. We were disappointed that there was no fuel for the stove, as the property description said there would be. Also a few dishwasher tablets would have been appreciated.
