Fairmaiden is a lovely cosy cottage; with lovely thought to all the little details to make it feel like a special place to stay. The location is great with easy access to Fowey and fantastic beaches like Lantivet and Lantic Bay. Would recommend this cottage and will certainly be back again to stay. Thanks!

This is the second time we’ve been to Fairmaiden and we love it. The minute we walk in it feels like home. I’ve only given a lower score for amenities as they were reduced due to COVID restrictions. Normally you can get by quite easily with what is there and Fowey is just a short ferry hop away with much more should you need it. We just love to take long coastal walks and then toast ourselves by the fire with maybe a drink or two,

Really lovely cottage, ideal for us, a family of 4 adults. Very clean, extremely well equipped kitchen with lots of baking items (this is what often lets a property down, especially for smaller numbers). Plenty of logs supplied to get the wood burner going. Two bathrooms were perfect and we used a bed in the attic which had wonderful views. Excellent communication from the host with detailed information about parking and amenities. The cottage is on a steep hill but excellent for getting you fit!
We even had a welcome cake which didn’t last very long, a really nice touch.
We would highly recommend the cottage and hope to return again in warmer weather.
