This place is a hidden gem. It’s so spacious and quiet and relaxing. We are having a very busy trip down the Pacific coast and Salinas was an oasis in the middle of rolling farmland, for us to recharge away from the tourist bustle of Monterey. The lovely town of Salinas and the excellent Steinbeck museum was icing on the cake.

The building was very charming. I enjoyed the history you felt when walking through the wine cellar and the games they supplied.

We booked the room on 2nd floor; the stairs were too steep to carry all our luggage to and from the room to ground floor.
