There are National Trust properties nearby including Chirk Castle, Erddig Hall, Powys Castle and Attingham Park. The historic city of Chester with its race course and abundance of shops set in quaint streets is approximately a 40 minutes drive away. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Had a wonderful week here, the location on the canal was perfect, really enjoyed watching the boats go past.Easy to get into nearest town for shops.House was clean, tidy and well equipped. Wonderful welcome pack also supplied. Spacious and excellent layout. Lots of appliances. Really enjoyed. Recommend this property.

Beautifully presented and comfortable cottage. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the quality was exceptional. Lovely location, close enough to plenty of places of interest and rural enough for a relaxing holiday away from the noise of a the modern world.
