Situated in the ever popular town of Pakefield, near Lowestoft, Albion Cottage is a renovated, end terrace property, and is only 100 yards from a sandy beach, making it ideal for fishing. Its bright interior makes it a more than comfortable base to relax in following a day of sun, sea, sand and fun on the Suffolk Coast. There are many things to do in the surrounding area, including Africa Alive, which is a renowned nature reserve, Lowestoft, with its popular pier, and Pleasurewood Hills, the UK’s most easterly theme park. Further inland, you will find Oulton Broad, part of the Norfolk Broads National Park. From here, you can fish (licence required), hire a day boat or sit back and watch the passing pleasure craft. Southwold, Aldeburgh and Dunwich are all within easy reach by car. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We had an amazing stay at Albion Cottage. Our 2 Frenchies and ourselves felt so at home. Mick, the owner, was always on hand via text if needed. Great location and fully equipped with everything you need.

A very clean, well equipped cottage situated really close to beach and a nice stroll to Lowestoft Pier along the seafront. There are plenty of good eating establishments close to the cottage and although kerbside parking it was not a problem. The cottage was cosy and very comfortable and welcoming after a day out walking or sightseeing. The owners have thought of everything a person would need to make their stay enjoyable. The cottage is very dog friendly with a totally enclosed rear garden which was a bonus. I cannot rate Albion cottage high enough and a top score of 10 is nowhere near high enough. I look forward to returning in the future.

This was our 3rd visit and again, we didn't want to come home as it is such a cosy cottage, perfect to return to at the end of a long day on the beach and brilliantly located for the wonderful Jolly Sailors! The mattresses on the beds are SO comfortable, the furniture downstairs is just right and there's everything you need, with the exception, perhaps of games and books but we just take our own. The garden is a sun trap and we love reading the newspaper out there mid morning before going to the beach. Both the garden and the cottage are so tastefully decorated and well-maintained.
