It sits on the edge of the beautiful Fowey Estuary overlooking the mouth of the river, out across the sea, and across to Polruan. The house has an elevated terrace, perfect to enjoy the views. There is a sandy beach and paddling pool a few yards away, and the southwest coastal path passes in front of the property. The porch offers beautiful views and an additional sitting area, perfect if you need a quiet space to work or read.
Fowey has much to offer, from restaurants to riverside cafes, galleries that showcase local artists and artisans, to tea rooms and local shops. There is an annual literary festival in May, also in August, the Royal Regatta. The property is not far away from the Eden Project, a popular visitor attraction. Fishing is also available nearby. Shops 200 yards, pub 250 yards.
