This charming country house, built in 1905 in the traditional brick style, is idyllically situated on the outskirts of town with a view of the dike across green fields. It features a 2,200-square-meter garden that’s perfect for playing and relaxing.
The country house is in a prime location: wonderfully peaceful in the countryside, yet centrally located. A supermarket, bank, and restaurants are all within a few minutes’ walk, as are the Frisian beach—just about a 20-minute walk away—and the tropical swimming pool at Center Parc, about a 10-minute walk away.
It is therefore just as suitable for families with children as it is for anyone who simply wants to relax surrounded by nature.
The country house is tastefully and modernly furnished. It consists of two vacation apartments on the first floor with separate terraces, as well as two vacation apartments in the attic, each with a spacious terrace.
The light-filled, stylish attic apartment was lovingly renovated by the owners in the spring of 2023. It is located on the first floor of the country house and is accessible via a large sun terrace that offers a magnificent view of the greenery and the fields. Thanks to excellent roof insulation and ventilation, the apartment maintains comfortable temperatures even in summer. It is furnished to a high standard and features hardwood floors throughout, except in the bathroom. The spotlights in each room are dimmable in stages, allowing every guest to create their own cozy atmosphere. The large terrace is equipped with patio furniture and a gas grill.
