Please note: Maximum occupancy consists of 2 adults and 2 children.. A charming, cosy and quirky two-bedroom listed stone-built terraced cottage, that’s almost 250 years old! 11 The Plosh is located only a couple of minutes’ walk from Keswick’s historic market square and is super convenient for the Lake too. Pubs, restaurants, Theatre by the Lake and Keswick’s quaint historic Alhambra Cinema are all on the doorstep.
The centrally heated accommodation comprises a cosy well-equipped kitchen with a dining table located on the ground floor, creating a lovely social space to gather around for a homely meal, along with the bathroom with a roll-top bath with rain shower over, ensuring a relaxing and convenient bathing experience for all. On the first floor, there is the galleried living room with TV, real flame gas wood burner, original waxed floor and bay window. Here you can embrace the cosy ambience and catch up on your favourite show or film with your loved ones. The main bedroom is off the living room with an antique French double bed for a restful night’s sleep, complimented by exposed timbers, generous wardrobe space and a DAB radio. Two additional single beds are accommodated in the gallery area off the living room accessed by very steep paddle steps (making it unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility and young children) with rooftop views to Catbells and Causey Pike. The cottage enjoys views of the fells from the galleried bedroom and first-floor lounge and provides a delightful cosy base from which to enjoy your holiday. Shops, pubs and restaurants 50 yards.

We had a great stay at the Plosh. Excellent location and beautiful old cottage. The garden is shared between a couple of cottages but we didn't have an issue with this with our dog. One thing that would have been nice would be to have a few more bits in the kitchen eg tea/coffee/oil. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic week staying at 11 The Plosh. The owners had gone to lots of trouble to make the cottage appealing with beautiful Christmas decorations throughout. It was very well equipped and extremely clean.
We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great weeks stay at this lovely property. The cottage is lovely and cozy.
We were pre-warned by the owners that they had to remove the throws and cushions from the suite in the lounge no issue for us took our own. This cottage is well equipped the location is superb
On an evening we got the burner on in the lounge and we were all warm as toast in a cold and wet October evenings. We will definitely stay at the 11 The Plosh again 100%. Thank you
