About this villa rental
Campo Valerio is an elegant, typical Tuscan property that can accommodate up to 13 guests. It consists of a main building and an annex made of stone, with a huge swimming pool, and is situated in a panoramic position on top of a hill surrounded by 13 hectares of olive trees. On clear days the view reaches the sea of the Gulf of Follonica which is 7 km away.
From the main road, a dirt road (about 500 meters) leads to the Villa and its large private parking area. Crossing a well-kept and well-lit garden in the evening, you reach the entrance. All accesses to the Villa are without stairs and therefore suitable for disabled guests.
On the ground floor lies a large living room with sofas, table, fireplace, satellite TV, a large dining room with fireplace, TV and access to the terrace, a super-equipped kitchen (semi-professional) and a small service bathroom.
A stone staircase leads to the first floor where the sleeping area is located. There are 6 bedrooms (5 double and 1 single) all with private en-suite bathroom with shower. In all double rooms there is the possibility of having a double bed or two single beds, as needed. All rooms are furnished with great taste and simplicity and are equipped with satellite TV and air conditioning (including heating if necessary).
In front of the main house there is a small independent annex with bathroom, bedroom (double bed or 2 single beds) and kitchenette fully equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities and with the same comforts as the main house.
The strong point of the Villa are the well-kept outdoor spaces and the huge swimming pool (10m x 20m, depth 1.40m) with its large solarium equipped with deck chairs, umbrellas and an outdoor shower. (Open from 1st Mai to 30th September)
The sea and the beaches (Puntone, Follonica, Cala Violina…) are just a few kilometers away and around the Villa there are 80 km of paths and trails for mountain biking and walks in the Tuscan nature.
The Villa is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a high standard structure to spend an outdoor holiday in total freedom and safety, but also with the ability to quickly reach all the wonderful beaches and tourist attractions of Tuscany.

We really enjoyed our time in the Villa Campo Valerio. It is located beatifully in the middle of olive trees and we loved it. The pool, the house and everything aroud was perfect for our family and the week we spent there.

The house is lovely and well-equipped for large groups. The kitchen has industrial supplies and a large refrigerator, which makes hosting large groups a breeze. The pool is AMAZING it's so large and wonderful for groups. The local town of Scarlino is beautiful and the house looks right up at it. The hosts were wonderful, and able to do seated dinners and hosted breakfasts as we wished. Having AC for each bedroom was great and the screens on the windows in the rest of the house made getting breezes in the house easy. Proximity to the coast is wonderful, and plenty to explore and do nearby. I would visit the house over and over again.
