The villa, spacious and pleasant APPT F4. Stunning sea and countryside.

Pros - Great view, nice clean pool with nearby shower and hose, great outdoor and indoor lighting, lots of fans in outdoor space, comfortable couches and large dining table off the pool, a/c in the bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, washing machine. Timely text responses from owners. Neutral/FYI - Villa is in reality the bottom floor of a larger home. The owners are living above you, their deck overlooks the pool. This can be beneficial if you need help. Cons - #1 Drive up to villa is very stressful, and I would highly recommend a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. The street is exceptionally steep, and narrow, and you need to take a sharp turn right off the street to immediately stop abruptly in front of the gate. This area in front of the gate is higher than the street and also it is smooth tiles and pitched downhill right to left. We arrived after rain and the car tires slipped/spunout on the wet tile as we left the street with the car sliding a little. Future times I accelerated up the hill and then coasted for the sharp right turn onto the tiles before breaking hard to stop before the gate. A bit crazy. #2 The wifi was exceptionally slow and frequently missing. My kids do not have cellular data and they were unhappy. In the end the owners gave us the wi-fi device (a small cellular hotspot) which at least allowed us to reboot it. But it was still very slow. This is not acceptable in a VRBO property, it should be broadband, inexcusable.

Everything went well; communication was excellent with Eric, the location is good, calm, and the view is magnificent! The only major flaw in the end remains the internet speed, impossible to download or stream anything, too bad, it would be perfect without it otherwise.

There were a few hiccups but they were addressed in a very timely manner which helped make our vacation enjoyable. The house accommodations were just fine for the nine of us and the pool was a very enjoyable touch for some relaxing one of our days. The only thing that was pretty frustrating was I paid almost just as much in fees as I did to rent the house. But all and all everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thank you for everything.

We enjoyed our stay here for a week. Good place to explore the island from if you have a rental car, as you avoid the Fort de France traffic jams. Eric and Agness were considerate hosts and provided great suggestions about what to see and do in Martinique.
