About this apartment rental
Well equipped apartment, 10 minutes walk from the city centre. With pool, great views and all you need for a comfortable holiday. This apartment is a 1 bedroom, with a renovated kitchen.
Ideal for people looking for relaxation but not to far from the city centre.
NOTE:
- The property is located on a very steep hill, which may make access challenging for some guests. We advise extra caution for those with limited mobility.
- There are ongoing construction works in front of the property, which may cause some noise disturbances during the day.
Guests will have the entire place for themselves during their stay.
We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.
We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.
Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).

The best view from a balcony that we've had in over 20 years of visiting Madeira! We loved sitting out looking over Funchal, the harbour and the sea. All the rooms (bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen) were a good size and well equipped.

: We had a great stay at Varandas do Funchal. The flat is conveniently located and really beautiful. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking Funchal. Our host made pick up and departure extremely easy for us (with these included in the accommodation cost).

After several years of stays when we have raised maintenance issues a general decline has continued and this apartment is becoming increasing shabby and ill equipped. Lack of instructions and general information now also missing. The bed needs binning it is broken and pillows are hardly fit for purpose.
