Embrace your love of the sea at Amor Del Mar. This dog friendly, beachfront home boasts 2 decks, hardwood floors, comfortable furnishings, and an open layout - perfect for spending time with friends or catching up with family. Close to town and even closer to the beach!

Inside, the wall of windows frames stunning Gulf views, so they are never out of sight. The fun pops of blue mixed in with the neutral decor mimics the sand and sea. Comfy couches surround a large TV, great for getting cozy during morning cartoons or movie nights. Adjacent is the dining room and spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. Cooking will be so easy, everyone will want to join in and help. Serve up meals at the breakfast bar for 4 or the dining table for 6.

The double queen bedroom on the main level has a shared, en suite full bathroom. Down the hall is the bunk room, perfect for kids and teens. The primary king suite is tucked away on the upper level, complete with private deck access to Gulf views and an en suite bathroom with double vanity.

Sheets & bath towels are included with every reservation. Housekeeping places freshly laundered linens in the home before every arrival and will collect any used linens after you depart.

A group of five friends stayed at this property for three nights. The view is priceless, the kitchen well equiped, the property very clean. It was a short trip to all the shopping and restaurants in Galveston. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a mini family vacation at this beautiful, spacious, well equipped home. The house is almost directly on the beach! All of the bedrooms were spacious and inviting. The living area had plenty of seating for us and the dining area has a table big enough 6-7 people. The kitchen is very well equipped, we were able to cook just about anything. The porch was very large with seating. The home was clean and updated. However, the only give you a very limited number of towels (1 per person) and while we only stayed a few nights, if we'd have stayed longer it would have been a cycle of continuous laundry for clean towels. The bbq pit is a charcoal pit that is in desperate need of an upgrade. But all in all our stay there was great for a short stay and would definitely stay again or recommend it. My largest complaint will be about the management company. We arrived on a Thursday and immediately noticed the toilets didn't flush well. Later that evening discovering it was actually a clogging issue. There wasn't a plunger in the house. I called, emailed and texted the contact information for the management company that day and didn't receive a response. On Friday morning I called and was finally able to speak to someone at their answering service who said they would let them know and after not receiving a timely response, emailed, texted and sent a message in the vrbo app. I later received a call and someone finally came out. We only had access to one toilet for 6 people. On Monday I received another call letting me know they'd received my message and was sending someone out. I checked out on Sunday. The management company was unreachable when we had a very important issue.

The house if beautifully renovated and was a perfect size for our family of 7 to relax in, play games, walk on the beach and view the ocean from the dining room! I gave it a 4/5 due to the deck condition where we hung out a lot. Workers stopped by and apparently were to work on the exterior the day we left so this will likely be a non-issue for anyone else, however there were splintered deck boards that gave several nasty slivers to the kids. The beds did not have sheets on them so the kids slept on blankets they brought until day 2 when we found sheets in the bottom drawer of a dresser. If you stay longer than 3 days you'll need to bring your own toilet paper. It's a great house and beautifully renovated however the price was quite a bit. The listing was on the high end of similar houses but then after taxes and the vrbo fee it was about 25% higher than expected so keep that in mind.
