The fun outside includes a large grass yard for any sport and includes equipment for soccer, tetherball, and new lifetime swingset with fort. Awesome full size outdoor Kettler ping pong table to play either on patio, driveway, or inside the well lit garage! A huge patio with automatic/wind sensor awning offers plenty of shade and outdoor seating (seats 16+). Patio also include Propane bbq and fire pit.
House includes waterproof Portable bluetooth speaker.
Location is less than 10 miles to US Air Force Academy, walmart, grocery store, gas station, fast-food, movie theater and downtown monument. The location is safe for kids-no busy streets, off of a secluded private dirt road and beautiful private forest.
The home is located at a higher elevation of about 7400 ft surrounded by forest, so the home was built with passive cooling design in mind. Open the windows to allow the breeze to cool things off and it really does the trick if it gets warm. Downstairs is always cool. There are ceiling fans in every room.
Enjoy the wildlife. There are deer, elk, albert squirrels, and owls.

Allison and David have a lovely property! We had the best Thanksgiving ever! Well stocked and large kitchen to accommodate all! Pool, hot tub, swing set, wood burning fireplace, bunk beds and game room, who could ask for more! So homey in the gorgeous setting of the Black Forest and overlooking Pikes Peak! So blessed they share this dream home with others!

Worked out perfectly for our little reunion we had. The house was in great condition and was cleaned well prior to us coming. No green pool, no dust bunnies, sheets on all of the beds, and plenty of towels too. Given some of the bad reviews in the past I was actually pleasantly surprised that none of those things were an issue, and they deserve 5 stars for that, for sure. The owner is a tad overly strict with her rules but we still had a great time and only felt like we were walking on eggshells around the pool area and vaping/smoking rules specifically. Driving all the way off the property and out of the neighborhood just to hit a vape that doesnāt leave any residues or smells, smoke/vape cannabis that is legal in Colorado, or even smoke cigarettes/cigars feels incredibly excessive, and was definitely something that could be mitigated by just asking people to vape or smoke outside and be mindful of having a receptacle for cigarette butts and ashes. Adults are generally incredibly respectful when asked to be, especially around something as personal and looked down on as a smoking habit. As for the pool, she asked that only 3-4 adults be in it at a time, but that kind of defeats the purpose of an indoor pool at a gathering space. We would have really liked to have been able to have 5-10 of us in there at least but felt like we would get āin troubleā if we did so. Other than that, it was great. Just things to think on!

First off, the home is beyond amazing. Great location. Past that it goes downhill. We drove in from Tx. It was late and had just snowed. It was hard to see. The area is beautiful but it was hard to find the property in the dark with so much snow. We didnāt have sheets on some of the beds. The room we chose had dirty pillowcases and stained sheets. We slept on top of the covers under a blanket with our own pillows because there were not extra in the house. The grandkids had to do the same with the bunkbeds. The following day, the cleaning crew came and put sheets on but left the dirty pillowcases. The pool looks blue in photos but itās actually greenish. The breaker had tripped so the pool was cold. It was dirty and green. When I called the property owner, she said that the pool guy would be there in 3 hours. We stayed at the house since he would have to go inside to get to the pool. He wasnāt there so I texted her where she told me that he wasnāt coming and it was supposed to be green like that. It was dirty and green. We know pools. It was not supposed to be green with things floating in it. The pool guy came by and cleaned it and added chemicals. We had ants in the kitchen, on the counters and floors. We had them in the bathrooms. The insides of drawers and cabinets were dirty where utensils and dishes are. The floors were not swept. Whoever the cleaning crew is needs to be fired. The property owner did give us an extra day for free.
