The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to prepare light meals during your stay. You'll find a fridge, induction cooktop, air fryer, microwave, toaster, and a coffee maker, along with all the essentials for simple meal prep. Start your day with a fresh cup of coffee and enjoy it outside by the river, or use the shared BBQ area for an evening cookout.
The bedroom is complete with a queen-sized bed, twin bunk-beds and soft linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Three units feature river views, and all guests have shared access to the outdoor amenities, including a riverside dock for swimming and relaxing, a BBQ area, and a covered fire pit. To maintain a safe and respectful environment for all guests, we have a few standard requirements. All guests must complete a brief identity verification on the day of check in, which may include uploading a government issued photo ID through our secure system prior to receiving self check in instructions. This is a common practice for professionally managed accommodations in Canada.
We also place a 500 CAD pre authorization security hold on the guest credit card 24 to 48 hours prior to check in. This is not a charge and no funds are withdrawn. The hold is automatically released within seven days after check out, provided there are no issues.

It was great to spend even a rainy weekend in Cowichan by the river, and during fall. The owners were helpful and responsive. The place was clean and although small, was thoughtfully appointed.

Newly renovated, clean, but somewhat small suites with kitchenettes. The hosts were prompt with answers to any questions, and helpful with suggestions. Check in was easy, no hassles. We had fishing clients from Japan stay here who could walk to any of the close by restaurants. I would book here again for sure.

Riverside is in a beautiful quiet setting on the river. The units have been refurbished and are very well stocked. We also had the use of a communal barbecue. We loved sitting on the private dock and chatting with other guests. It was a perfect getaway!
