About this cabin rental
Whispering Pines is a peaceful 2BR/2BA cabin nestled in the woods, minutes from Mohican and Snow Trails. Inside, enjoy a cozy living space with fireplace and leather seating, full kitchen, and high-speed WiFi. The primary suite features a luxurious four-poster bed, soaking tub, and tiled shower. A second queen bedroom and adjacent full bath make it ideal for families or couples. Outside, relax in the hot tub, dine on the covered deck, or gather around the fire pit under the stars. Pets welcome.
We do not live on site but we are nearby and are available if needed.
Whispering Pines sits on 5 beautifully wooded acres, offering the peace of a rural retreat just minutes from downtown Loudonville.
This charming town is packed with things to do—browse local boutiques, grab a bite to eat, or head out for adventure with canoeing, go-karts, mini golf, and an aerial park all nearby.
Looking for more? Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails, and Amish Country are all just a scenic drive away—perfect for unforgettable day trips!
While Whispering Pines is just a short distance off a state route, please note that the driveway is gravel and has a moderate incline.
From December 1st through April 1st, we strongly recommend that guests use a vehicle with four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) to ensure safe and reliable access—especially during snow, ice, or other winter weather conditions.
Step into Whispering Pines, our cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin, and feel the warmth of rustic charm from the moment you arrive. The fully equipped eat-in kitchen flows seamlessly into a comfortable living area, complete with a stone fireplace that sets the scene for perfect cabin vibes.
Outside, enjoy the covered outdoor living space, fire pit, and a relaxing hot tub—ideal for unwinding in any season. Year after year, guests return to Whispering Pines to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature—and with the people who matter most.
This is a rural property. We are within easy driving distance from Mohican State Park, Malabar Farm, Snow Trails Ski Lodge, Amish country, and more.
We’re happy to welcome up to two dogs—just let us know in advance that they’ll be joining you! There is a $65 non refundable pet fee.
Firewood is not provided, but there’s a convenient roadside stand just around the corner from the Mohican Pines cabins. It’s self-serve and always stocked. The address is 2318 State Route 97 (also known as Cleveland Street.)

We had a great time and accomidations were wonderful. It would have been nice if the bridge between properties was in good shape to make our walk from one place to the other safer. Also with the snow we had some ice melt to put on the steps and walkway would have helped. It was very slippery. THank you

It was one of thr best of our cabins in which we’ve stayed so far. Not by looks only - or cleanliness - but by character. This cabin had nice character. I felt as though we were far away; or out west having our bonfire with complete isolation from our daily lives. And we did! But - in Ohio, close to home. Only a 2 hour drive for us and we loved it .
