Primitive lake access is just a few minutes away. No amenities at the primitive lake access point.
Lake access with amenities is located in the village of Skaneateles. Just a 10 minute drive from the farm. There is a public beach area, with benches along with public restrooms. Restaurants, delis, pubs and shops within walking distance from the beach in Skaneateles. Bicycling, motorcycling, hiking trails, golf, apple and pumpkin picking, wineries, restaurants, and shopping all within 10 to 20 minute drive.
Or, you can hang out and try your hand at farm life. This is a great opportunity to introduce yourself and your children to livestock and animal care. Help feed, clean and water the animals, groom animals, or collect eggs from our free-range chickens.
Kayaks and adult life jackets are available. Along with a fire pit, Weber grill, washer and dryer, outdoor seating, yard games, and board games.

A fantastic place, in close proximity to the town and the lake. Seeing all the farm animals every day was a big bonus. All amenities were in great working order. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen. Overall, one of the most enjoyable vacations! Will come back.
