About this cottage rental
Between Angers and Saumur, this traditional Anjou house, nestled in nature between vineyards and woods, amidst troglodyte dwellings, offers a peaceful, rural setting.
Diane, a winemaker at her family estate just minutes from the cottage, and Guillaume will be delighted to share their passion for wines with you and introduce you to the different appellations of the Anjou vineyards.
The cottage opens onto a living room with an open-plan kitchen (electric hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, Senseo-type pod coffee maker, etc.), a dining area, and a lounge area with a television. On the ground floor, the cottage has a bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm), a shower room, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are two attic bedrooms (each with two single beds, 90cm) and a shower room with a toilet.
Outside, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views of the vineyards (garden furniture, garden chairs, barbecue, etc.). You can also park your vehicle in the courtyard of the cottage.
Shops are 10 minutes away in the town of Brissac, famous for its castle, the tallest in France! You can reach the banks of the Loire River in 10 minutes and the cities of Angers and Saumur in 30 minutes.
Located in the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Natural Park, you can enjoy all the pleasures of nature and the Loire River: hiking trails, the "Loire à Vélo" cycle route, visits to vineyards and castles… From the cottage, you can set off on a hilly circuit offering landscapes of cultivated fields, including artichokes, seeds, flowers… and vineyards, as well as a visit to the Manoir de la Caillère, an art gallery in a troglodytic setting.
Baby cot provided - Wifi internet connection - Molkky and badminton rackets on site - Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning offered as an option.
