About this cottage rental
Country house with a fenced-in pool and hot tub, a fireplace with a wood-burning oven, a pellet stove, a soccer field, a basketball court, a ping-pong table, chickens, and an organic vegetable garden.
Fully accessible for people with limited mobility.

This modern-style home was built in late 2020, featuring a blend of materials such as concrete, stone, and wood, with indigo tones predominating throughout.
Located at an elevation of 900 meters and 3 km from Monesterio (Badajoz), less than a ten-minute drive and just forty-five minutes via the highway from Seville or Mérida, right on the edge of the Aguafría Forest. Perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. You can enjoy birdsong, spectacular views, and magical sunsets in a wonderful setting. It is surrounded by chestnut, pine, olive, fig, cork oak, and holm oak trees.
The house is fully accessible for people with limited mobility—both indoors and outdoors—and is equipped with all the amenities needed for both winter and summer.
In winter, you can enjoy the fireplace with its wood-burning oven, and the bedrooms are heated by a large pellet stove located in the hallway. We’ll leave you plenty of firewood, and the house is equipped with comforters and blankets in every room.
In summer, enjoying the outdoors is a real pleasure. There’s a pool with lounge chairs, two well-equipped porches, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, living room, and kitchen, and mosquito screens throughout the house.
The kitchen is fully equipped with two combo refrigerators, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a wine cooler, a washing machine, a dryer, an iron, and all kinds of appliances such as a blender, a juicer, a traditional coffee maker and a Nespresso machine, a toaster, a barbecue, a paella pan, a rosco, and a cauldron…
It has 4 bedrooms (2 with extra-large double beds, 1.80) and 2 triple bedrooms (90 beds), 1 very comfortable sofa bed in the living room (1.40 double bed), and the option for 2 extra beds (90 beds).
Outside, next to the house, there is a chicken coop with free-range chickens, allowing you to enjoy the taste of farm-fresh eggs, and an organic vegetable garden in the summer.
Sheets, bath towels, shower gel, shampoo, and basic kitchen supplies are provided.
If you enjoy walking, we’ve mapped out several hiking trails that start right from the house, with varying levels of difficulty and duration.
In the house, you’ll find a book listing all these trails, places to visit in the area, our favorite spots to eat or have a drink in town, places to shop, and a few other useful items, such as a comprehensive first-aid guide.
