Above the Clouds is a stunning three-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin rental perched high overlooking the Smoky Mountains, yet located just a short drive away from everything Cherokee and Bryson City has to offer, providing the perfect setting for rest and relaxation.
The open plan main level lets the chef enjoy natural light and views while cooking! This kitchen holds all the cookware, dishes and utensils you need. You’ll love the stainless steel appliances, handy double sink and helpers like the blender, toaster and (absolutely essential) coffee maker. Use the kitchen’s bar counter to lay out a tasty breakfast buffet.
The unobstructed view of the Smoky Mountains is breathtaking. The cabin sits high on a mountain top, so the covered deck almost seems suspended in midair. There’s nothing between you and the lush, green forests stretching away to the mountain peaks on the horizon. Enjoy the view while you’re soaking in the bubbling hot tub, too!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The cabin feels isolated with woods on one side and open mile long views on the other while being close to several mountain towns. It is beautiful! The cabin itself was clean, well equipped, with multiple decks. The kitchen is wonderful to cook in with everything you need and views for miles. We enjoyed movies by the fireplace on the first level and pool with games on the tv in the lower level. We slept like logs in the comfy beds. Yellow Rose Realty was also wonderful to work with and kept in touch before and during out stay. We will definitely be back!
