About this cabin rental
Cottage 6 has a complete kitchen set-up: dishes, silverware/knives, pans, microwave, oven/stove, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee pot( we provide filters). The "L" shaped kitchen/living room has a futon in it. We provide kitchen soap and bathroon hand soap but you need to bring your own kitchen, bath, & paper towels. It also has heat, A/C (heat is lower level only) and cable. Bathrooms with sink and shower. Toilet paper & all bedding provided. This cottage has its own deck with fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill, & faces beautiful Lake Osakis!
Lake Osakis is a 6,270-acre lake located in the town of Osakis on Interstate #94. It is one on Minnesota's top fisheries with both large and smallmouth bass, northern pike,crappies and big sunnies. But Walleyes are the most sought after prize on the lake. Osakis has a tremendous Walleye population with a great population of fish in the "keeper" range plus those "trophy fish."

This cottage is great to get together and have fun we made 6 sleep very comfortably and had good storage for all of our things. Also with this property comes an awsome fishing dock with great boat lifts with electricity and your own yard. The host is great with communicating and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Gorgeous location on a Great Lake. Quiet and peaceful. The cabin needs some work but has great bones (they have that scheduled). Janet is lovely to deal with and makes the process easy.

The cabin was very spacious and clean. (We have 5 kids.) The kids really enjoyed the dock and fishing almost every day. They caught a few little fish (can't tell you what they were as I'm not familiar with the types of fish, but the kids thought it was awesome!) There was a small beach just a couple blocks down to take the kids swimming. There is a pontoon or a boat to rent. We had the pontoon for a few hours one day and we all had a lot of fun being out on the lake. The pontoon was clean and very well taken care of. There is even a welcoming neighbor cat that likes to visit, which our little 1-year-old enjoyed to hug!
I would give all 5's, but we were a little disappointed about the pool not being in service (as it was advertised that there was an indoor pool.) Shad, the owner, did explain to us why (something with the management of it and not having someone onsite as most of the cabins are split up into different owners and the resort is more of an association now.) The local beach was fun though, so the kids weren't down about it for too long. Also, we had some plumbing issues, but Janet had the plumber over there quick to get it fixed.
Janet, Shad and their daughter (I won't try to spell her name because I will probably get it wrong) were all very, very helpful and kind throughout our stay. They were quick to respond to any questions or needs. Very friendly and great to converse with. We would definitely stay again in the future. Thank you so much and hope you had fun at the Twins game! =)
