Indulge in the comfort and luxury of this great apartment. The space has a high-quality finish, with modern equipment and accessories, including satellite TV, underfloor heating, air conditioning, an electric window locking system, a fully equipped kitchen with Siemens appliances, and "Roca" sanitary ware.
Our apartment is situated at the Baía da Luz resort. Architecturally, the resort was designed with Arab influences, in a Roman style, and is divided into three buildings, which form a pleasant feeling of an inner village.

The leisure areas are set amongst stunning gardens and include:
★ Two large pools & one children's pool (shared and Heated)

★ The baby and family pool are heated from May to October. Despite not heated, they are open and can be used
The Italian Alloro restaurant enjoys a view over the pool, leisure areas and a garden area. For those interested in Golf, there are 4 Golf courses nearby, in 5 to 20 minutes by car.
➤ We usually welcome families with children or responsible adults because the apartment is part of a quiet condominium with lots of residential owners and some of our bed types are unsuitable for adult use..
➤ Parties and other disturbances are not accepted.

## Neighborhood
Praia da Luz is a small resort town located on the incredible Algarve coastline 10km west of Lagos. Praia da Luz, or just Luz, was originally a small fishing village on the edge of the sandy bay surrounded by cliffs. This sandy bay sheltered by cliffs is a perfect family beach destination. Although the town is now more of a holiday resort, it still retains some of the original features from its historical past. The bigger city Lagos is less than 10 minutes drive away, and in the other direction, you will find many small beach towns and breathtaking beaches. Perfect for family, beach and watersport (surf) trips.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical centre full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs, and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical centre, great food and friendly people. It is located on the coast. You can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
## Transit
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport, and car rental is available in the airport's parking lot. By train, it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. You can walk into town and the beach from the apartment.
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast), but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can quickly get around without a car, and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a lot easier.

*Misleading listing and poor guest experience*We stayed at Baia de Luz and while the location itself was convenient and close to the beach, the stay was marred by misleading claims and a lack of basic hospitality.The apartment did not provide the essentials that were clearly stated in the PDF listing; there was no shampoo or shower gel, and we were only given two rolls of toilet paper for five people staying four nights. Each person was issued just one towel, meaning we had to rent extra towels to use at the pool. These are basic things that should have been included or at the very least communicated in advance.The internet didn’t work at all, which was a major inconvenience.Worst of all, 68.17 was deducted from our deposit without any explanation. We left the apartment in decent condition and did not damage anything, so this charge felt completely unjustified and dishonest.Unfortunately, despite the great location, the experience left a very bad taste. The lack of transparency, missing amenities, and unjustified extra charges make it hard to trust the hosts or recommend this place to others. I would not stay here again.

A very pleasant and well presented apartment. Very clean and well equipped in a super complex with a great pool area and a 5 minute stroll to the beach.
I can highly recommend this quiet area with good parking if needed.
Only a 10 minute drive to Lagos.
