Nestled in the beautiful Forest Lakes Estate Area, Tranquil Waters on Tibbets Lake is a brand-new luxury retreat offering the perfect Northern Michigan getaway. This stunning lakefront home features a full-stone fireplace, an expansive deck with sunset views, and a seasonal dock ideal for morning coffee or afternoon relaxation. The walkout patio includes comfortable seating, a dining area, and a wood pellet grill for outdoor meals.
Inside, the open-concept layout with 9-foot cathedral ceilings creates a bright and spacious feel. The king master suite and second king bedroom both offer water views, while a queen bedroom and queen sleeper sofa provide plenty of room for guests. The master bath includes a soaking tub and large shower for ultimate comfort.
Enjoy SMART TVs, games, movies, and books, or head outside for kayaking, biking, or fireside evenings under the stars. Conveniently located near Grace MacDonald Park and Rasho Road Trailhead, this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath lakefront haven is just 10 minutes from the airport and 20 from downtown Traverse City and the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. Two small dogs are welcome.
Rental Policy:
- No smoking or fireworks are permitted.
- Two small dogs are okay upon approval. (2 max) No oversized or dangerous breeds. Pets are not permitted to be left alone for long periods of time. No pets on furniture.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- Minimum booking age is 25.
- 30-night minimum stay required.
To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. The cost for Safely is $65 for 1-29 nights, $300 for 30-59 nights, $395 for 60-89 nights, and $475 for 90-119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $65 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, the additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.
Guest Access:
This property features self-check-in. Check-in is permitted between 4:00 pm -10:00 pm. Guest are responsible for having their check-in instruction before arrival. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form and agreeing to our terms of service. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are provided with a small amount of the basic essentials including 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 2 dish pods, a full dish soap dispenser, and full soap dispensers in each bathroom, and basic cleaning supplies. Guests are not to use the host's inventory of bulk supplies left at the property and should be prepared to supply their own as needed for longer stays.
CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
•November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds.
•May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds.
•Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.)
•If you used more than 2 shower towels, hand towels, or washcloths per person we ask that you wash, dry, and put the excess away before checking out. (If applicable.)
•Dispose of all food. No food or beverages are to be left inside the property.
•Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. Please take the trash to the road if your stay falls on or within 48 hours of trash day.
•Put patio cushions back. (If applicable.)
•All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away. Dirty dishes may result in a $100 additional guest cleaning fee.
•Turn off all lights.
•Lock the door.
