Wrightsville Cabin: Outdoor Fire Pit: Hammock by the creek: Long Level Marina

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was peaceful, clean and somewhat private- exactly what we were looking for. The bed was very comfortable and well maintained, and we really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.

Cozy secluded cabin close to the river.Home had everything we needed and it was great to be able to get away for a few days! Book this place; you won’t be sorry!

Beautiful location

The pictures show a beautiful fireplace warming the living room. As per our email confirmation, the pilot light was going to be lit and we simply had to turn the gas dial up to start the fireplace. Not only was the pilot light not lit, the gas was turned off in the fireplace. We decide to not try to light the pilot light as per the owners suggestion because if something went wrong, we did not want to be liable. Very disappointed. Also, I am highly allergic to fragrance and air fresheners. I carry an Epi pen with me at all times. I asked if there were any in the cabin, if they could kindly be removed well before our check in time. As per an email response from the owner, I was assured there were No Air fresheners in the cabin. Upon arrival, it was obvious that was not the case. There was one on top of the fridge, one in the bathroom, one in the loft and a plug in oil one in the living room. We had to immediately remove these and place them on the screened in porch. I accidentally spilled some of that oil on me leading way to a long hot shower to rid of the fragrance. This was not only disappointing but to me absolutely terrible. I thought it was a simple request and explained twice if my allergy. The outdoor grill grates were filled with a white mold so we could not use that either. On the positive side, this is a very cute cabin and a private location. I just wish my concerns and needs would have been addressed with a bit of importance to ensure a delightful stay.
