The Space:
Located on Hunter Road, directly outside of historic Gruene, TX, lies this brand new unique & secluded vacation spot. Nestled underneath towering oak trees with Spanish moss creates the most perfect and peaceful setting for your weekend getaway. Each of our 5 Yurts were specifically assembled with your privacy in mind to create a one-of-a-kind, hill country glamping experience. Pull up a chair under the shade and relax as the sounds of nature ease your mind and spirit. It’s the proximity of the great outdoors that makes this unique accommodation such an amazing experience.
Texas Yurt Haus is perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway or extended stay. Ideal for a romantic couple’s getaway, girls’ weekend, father/son bonding trip, or family vacation A one-of-a-kind experience you won’t soon forget! Less than 5 minutes from Historic Gruene and the Guadalupe River.

A clear dome located directly over the bed allows natural light to stream in during the day and a glimpse of the stars and moon at night before you drift off to sleep. Rainy nights in a yurt are unlike any other!
We love traveling with our fur babies just as much as anyone, so we do have pet friendly yurt options available! This yurt is NOT pet friendly. Ask us about a pet friendly option!
Please keep in mind that this is a glamping experience, offering the comforts of indoor living while still being immersed in a natural, outdoor setting. Because of this, encounters with bugs or critters are possible.
Additionally, New Braunfels is a train town, and this property is located near active train tracks. For guest comfort, we provide ear plugs and a white noise machine to help minimize any disruptions.

This property is a short 10 mile drive to Whitewater Amphitheatre located on the banks of the Guadalupe River Horseshoe and less than 3 miles to the area's best nearby attractions including live music at Gruene Hall, Gruene Historic District and Rockin R Tube Rentals! Visit crystal clear Canyon Lake and the beautiful scenic River Road. Visit America’s Favorite Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Wurstfest, Landa Park, Landa Park Golf Course and the Comal River tube chute. Close to grocery stores, gas stations and plenty of river outfitters to find all your river essentials.
Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must stay at the property. No smoking. No pets. This property has a maximum occupancy of 2 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home may be monitored by video camera.

Location was easy to get to from Gruene Hall. When we arrived our assigned unit did not have a working heater. The answering service transferred us to the hosting agent and quickly got us checked in to one that was good to go. No problems from there on out. Great couples get away. Enjoyed watching the deer from the deck of our Yurt in the evenings and mornings. Would be a fun place to stay with friends to hang out around campfire etc.

These yurts are bomb! Great quality construction, everything you need when glaming. We loved being able to hear the crickets and birds submerged in nature! While also able to enjoy things like a bed and a shower and toilet 😂. The property is well maintained. Felt very safe while there. Would recommend. As a heads up I thought the River for swimming would be steps away. It is about a 15-20 min drive. Doable and we enjoyed!

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The yurt itself was well maintained and clean. We had the occasional critters,but that is to be expected in the woods in Texas. However, We could not sleep with the train going through all night long. My husband is a light sleeper and woke up everytime the train came through. The company was very responsive to all emails prior to our stay and during. They responded promptly to my email about the trains and allowed us to check out early with a refund for the second night. I would book with the company again..but not this location!
