On a quiet residential street, there is plenty of on-street parking available. There are several wonderful restaurants and cafes right in the neighborhood within walking distance, along with many local breweries, distilleries, and shopping spots. The historical Old Port and Downtown Portland are a fifteen-minute walk or a quick Uber, so park your car and forget about it for a while!

The host was very easy and accommodating to work with throughout the process. I do feel the pictures were misleading because it looked like a newer renovation and in reality it is an old house. They have the house set up nicely but there is no central air. Only a couple window air conditioners which are not in the bedrooms. Presents a problem if the occupants in the bedrooms want privacy and need to shut the doors. Things were clean in the house. It could use some landscaping outside the main entrance. Weeds everywhere. It served its purpose for all of us. We just needed a reasonable, overnight stay in Portland. There were five of us ladies that shared the one bathroom but we managed for one night. It’s affordable and walkable to beautiful sunrises! Thanks again to the hosts!

This was the cutest VRBO! it’s proximity to the promenade was perfect for our family. The kids were able to run around in the park. The unit itself was so cute! The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. All the details in the unit were adorable. Loved it! Would definitely recommend! We hope to return!
