About this villa rental
This stunning designer villa is located in a prime position in Piedimonte Etneo, with spectacular panoramic views of Mount Etna and the coast of Taormina.
This modern-style villa is composed of two floors, finished at the beginning of 2017 to the highest standard; there are priceless features such as wide sliding glass doors, teak flooring for the sleeping quarters, pearl mosaics in the bathroom, a large stone shower and a wood burning stove, all made by the finest Italian companies, as well as a large and functional kitchen with a breakfast bar.
The house has lots of light thanks to the large windows and the numerous openings.
The ground floor is a unique space (about 55 square meters), where you can relax on the sofas, watch the firewood burn in the fireplace, and make the most of a kitchen equipped with all the mod-cons: fridge, electric oven, electric hob and Nespresso coffee machine. A laundry room and large bathroom with mosaic and shower complete the ground floor.
On the second floor, the sleeping quarters feature high white wooden ceilings and teak parquet floors. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a solid wood bunkbed with two beds: one small double bed and one single bed. The bathroom, with a large 180cm-wide shower, has a relaxing ambience, with wood cladding on the floor and ceiling as well as LED overhead lighting in the shower.
Summer air conditioning and winter heating are provided by a modern heater, while the ground floor fireplace provides further heating.
From the ground floor, step through the large sliding glass doors to enjoy the spacious main terrace with its spectacular views of Mount Etna and Taormina. The well-kept garden next to the terrace will make your stay even more charming. There is also a barbecue.
The plot of the property is 3500 square meters, filled with cultivated fruit trees such as citrus fruit, figs, cherries, nuts, olive trees, kiwis, grapes and pomegranates - all there for the picking, depending on the season!
The villa is well placed to allow you to reach the many surrounding tourist sites. You will find yourself only 500m from the village of Piedimonte Etneo, 6km from the beaches of Fiumefreddo, 20km from Taormina, 20km from the Alcantara gorges, 5km from Linguaglossa where there are ski resorts, and 40km from the city of Catania.

The property was as sleek and beautiful as described and pictured. But being IN it and enjoying that sleek simplicity of the house is really special. The views of Mt. ETNA change daily/hourly, each one
fascinating, holding your attention. Sunrises are a thrill from the bedroom terrace, roosters sounding the wakeup.
The host is warm and generous in every way with his hospitality.
This property, and it's location are a spectacular place to enjoy Sicily for a first or return visit.

Actions speak louder than words - but a few comments at this point: a villa equipped with everything you need, perfectly maintained, technically up to date, furnished with great attention to detail and a host who is competent with advice and action and: who cares!
We enjoyed the quiet comfort, the views, the climate and the orchard!
Conclusion: anytime again!
