Summer activities include outdoor pool, a nine-hole golf course, tennis court, mountain biking on both natural and paved trails, hiking trails, and Boating and fishing are available on Hill Lake. Stroll along the water's edge, go berry picking, or view the many different species of birds in the area. This area is a vacationer's dream. This lovely resort is a place where families return again and again. Guests will experience the unmistakable peace and solitude of "Minnesota's North Woods", as well as numerous attractions nearby. Visit Forest Historical Center, the Judy Garland Museum, Mississippi Showboat, Grand Rapids and Aitkin shopping, antique shops, Iron World, Itasca State Park (headwaters of the Mississippi), Hill Annex Mine, and the Port of Duluth.
