The house is great and the location is in an area of the beach that had a fair bit less traffic. We would definitely book this house again. The host agency is very attentive. The only issue, which didn't really affect us, was that the code for the door didn't work. They provided a key, which was fine.

Location was great, plenty of hot water, nice furniture and plenty of cooking utensils. We were short on wash clothes and that was handled efficiently. The keyless lock on the door wouldn't open with our code so we had to use the key and lock box. As we had different people coming in and out at different times. This is a very nice house.

Beautiful place & location! Check in was frustrating several key codes wouldn’t work. The key in the lock box wouldn’t work on the door. The lift was messed up and ended up having a maintenance guy come out said he had to order a part. Little problem with love bugs in one of the bedsrooms they came out cleaned everything up and put on fresh sheets. We would stay again there was 9 of us and had a blast!!

This is the second time we have stayed at Shenanigans. We had a great time! The cargo lift was a definite plus. The hot tub is nice, but takes up a lot of space on the deck. We have stayed at Flamingo, and Serenity, twice. We will be back.

Location was exceptional! The living areas were wonderful and the kitchen was the heart.Upstairs bedrooms the configuration did not make sense. The issue is if you were staying in the back room you had to go in and out of the first room. Now we looked at many houses and chose this one because it had a lift. It worked one time going up and was not working the whole ten days we stayed. Taking everything we brought up 20 feet of stairs was exhausting since we had two people that were handicap and a pregnant mother that couldn't carry their belongings.

Shenanigans is a great house for a beach vacation. It has direct beach access, lots of decks and a large, covered area downstairs. With 5 bedrooms there is plenty of room for a large party. One of the best aspects of this house is the second refrigerator, which gives plenty of space for food and beverage storage. Everyone in our party absolutely loves Shenanigans.

This beach house has amazing views. It was exceptionally clean and beautiful. The kitchen has everything you might need including two refrigerators. There are two areas for visiting with friends inside and many more tables, chairs, and a hot tub for gathering outside. It was absolutely perfect and my group will return next year. I highly recommend this vacation rental for a small or very large group. We did not have children with us on this trip, but it would be great for all ages. There is even a high chair tucked away if needed.

This was our first stay in Crystal Beach and we loved it. The home is just right for a vacation rental. We had everything we needed including the perfect view to watch the Memorial Day guests on the beach. We can't wait to come back. Oh and the office makes the booking process a breeze!

This house was designed for people who wish to stay in or near the house. Ample seating for meals and relaxation as a group. The acoustics were awesome since we took a few guitars with us too. We had a local church youth group I saw from another review, carry the luggage up for a donation. You can reach them at 409-684-4413. Ask for Pastor Daniel. This was a wonderful vacation and i would recommend the house to anyone who wants to leave some trouble behind for a few days.

Our pastoral staff stayed for 2 nights for planning purposes. Each minister had their own bedroom which was helpful after a long day of planning. The house is mere steps from the beach. At the time of our stay, there were very few others on the beach. The house is well apportioned and very suitable with two living room spaces and 4 of the 5 bedrooms have an en-suite restroom. The grill was suitable, a very nice deck, and plenty of parking space. If the opportunity arises again, we will consider this as our number 1 choice. (App would not let me list the “who stayed” as Staff)

The house & location were awesome!! We enjoyed home & our only problem was no electricity the first night. I realize it wasn’t your fault but it was very upsetting & then on our last night it happened again. Again it was unfortunate but put a damper on our trip. Would love to use this property again. I found this listing on VRBO and the size and location were perfect for what we needed. Our entire Family 4 generations stayed! 18 people in total and the house was perfect. It had everything we needed and the Beach walking access was perfect to go back and forth with the babies and the Grandparents! The only thing I wish was different would of been the check in and check out times! I understand there is a cleaning process and that takes time… However not being able to check in before 4pm on a Thursday and then literally having to pack everything Saturday Evening just to make sure the little things got tidied up on the inside Sunday before 10am was a bit of a rush especially having Little’s that needed breakfast and the wake up process. Maybe adjust those hours and it would be PERFECT! Over All Memories were Made and we enjoyed our stay!! Beautiful Cabin and Location!

Great "On the Beach" location with plenty of room for our group of 18. Clean, well kept up. Beach items for the kids to use were provided. TV's in all bedrooms, nice sit at kitchen island and separate conversation area. Deck area with amble seating. Beach never got to crowded!

The house was great. I received so many compliments from all of my friends and family for choosing this house. From the location to proximity to the beach, to the house itself, it was great. The only knock, if there is any (and there's really nothing else), but the house swayed a bit. We have stayed in a Crystal Beach Beachhouse every summer for the last 10 years. We have never stayed in the same house twice. I have never felt a house sway, but this one did. I wasn't the only one that felt it, but it was very minimal at best. It was actually kind of cool, cuz we felt like we were on a cruise ship. It doesn't sway enough to cause dizziness or any sea sickness or anything like that, but we certainly felt it. The house was super clean, and it was fully furnished. My wife said that it was probably one of the best stocked houses that we have stayed in. (Again, we have stayed in a beach house every summer). We really didn't bring anything other than our swimsuits and food and drink. That was it. It was a great stay, and we would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Clean; a well organized kitchen with everything you need; floor plan very open to engage all twenty guests at one time; bedrooms and bathrooms were very large; the views from the deck were incredible; the sound of the ocean from the deck revealed just how close you were to the beach. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
