Lower Standen Farm - sleeps 24 in total (maximum 18 adults)
Comprises 3 properties - a farmhouse with 5 bedrooms, granary with 3 bedrooms and dairy with 1 bedroom. Large gravelled driveway with parking for approximately 8 car
Main Farmhouse (sleeps 13 - max 10 adults) in 5 bedrooms
Entry hall, with seating. From here the main staircase to the first and second floors
Drawing room, one side with central seating on plump sofas and armchairs seating 8 / 10. Large open fireplace with guard. To the other side in front of the French doors to the gardens are two seating areas each seating four to six each with a mix of sofas and chairs. A Smart TV is also located here and the resident board games
The Snug/TV room - corner sofa seating for six with some casual chairs for a few more. Large smart screen TV. Speaker.
Downstairs cloakroom
Kitchen / Dining room - magnificent generous open plan contemporary kitchen. Central island with five stools to dine at the counter. Equipment includes an American pantry style fridge freezer with ice machine and water dispenser, dishwasher and range cooker with six gas rings, twin electric oven, plate warming drawer, microwave, two dishwashers and all your usual gadgets. Fully kitted kitchen for large groups

The driveway is gravelled and includes an undercover ping pong table and gas BBQ.
Hen parties, stag parties and all adults groups of ages under 30 are not permitted. Lower Standen Farm is suited to family groups only

Had the best time , especially enjoyed the lovely big kitchen had everything we needed and more. Was the perfect getaway from London for a big group. We would love to come back again in the summer when we can use the pool.

I booked a surprise weekend for my wife's 50th birthday & couldn't have been happier with the property. It ticked all of the boxes and had everything we needed for 18 of us. Being autumn the swimming poo was not available but would definitely be back in warmer times to take advantage of that. The beds were supper comfy and the water was extremely hot and in abundance.
Communication with the property manager was seamless and instant. All in all this house had everything & more so couldn't fault anything

The property was beautifully appointed and very well equipped. My only negative comments would be that in some areas the property was showing its age ie. the pool was tired and full of leaves as the cover is ripped in parts, the smaller barn was dated with some of the electrics and sockets coming away from the wall and not particularly safe and in some areas lamps were not working.
However the location and outlook were superb and made up for any niggles.
One instruction that could be made clearer is the door access on entry - ie. the key pad that took us ages to work out where it was!

A beautiful home, elegantly incorporating traditional with modern, with a huge kitchen/dining area and fine views over a field of grazing sheep. Everything was immaculate and fitted out to the highest quality. A standout house for my 80th birthday family celebration.
