About this house rental
Welcome to The Mountain House, a stylish and luxurious Snowy Mountains retreat designed for families and groups of friends looking for comfort, space and a touch of indulgence.
Located just 2 minutes from Jindabyne town centre, this beautifully designed single-level home provides an ideal base for enjoying everything the Snowy Mountains has to offer, from summer adventures on the lake and in the mountains to winter days skiing and snowboarding.
Step inside and you'll find four generous bedrooms, two beautifully appointed bathrooms and an inviting open-plan living area designed for relaxing together after a day of adventure.
The master bedroom features a luxurious king-sized bed, wall-mounted TV, walk-in robe and ensuite with heated flooring. The generous family bathroom includes a full-sized deep bath and shower, with heated floors providing an extra touch of comfort during the cooler months. All bedrooms feature comfortable Posturepedic beds, premium allergy-free doonas, wool blankets, extra pillows and individual electric heaters to ensure a restful night's sleep.
The heart of the home is the spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, kitchenware, breakfast bar, oven and dishwasher, while the Nespresso coffee machine is ready for your morning coffee before heading out for the day.
The lounge features high-end designer furniture, a 65-inch TV with soundbar, reverse-cycle air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and Netflix, making it just as enjoyable to spend a quiet night at home as it is to get out and explore.
Winter guests will love the practical features designed for snow trips, including the double lock-up garage with internal access and dedicated ski storage and drying facilities. No more scraping ice from the car before an early start on the slopes. There is also plenty of room to store mountain bikes, SUPs, a boat or motorbikes during the warmer months.
Summer in the Snowy Mountains offers a completely different experience. Spend your days exploring Kosciuszko National Park, mountain biking, fishing, boating, swimming or enjoying the beautiful Lake Jindabyne. After a day outdoors, fire up the three-burner BBQ and relax on the undercover patio while the kids enjoy the secure garden.
Families with younger children are also well catered for, with a portacot and highchair available for use.
With linen included, a separate laundry, drying rack, secure storage and all the comforts of a luxury home, The Mountain House is designed to make your Snowy Mountains stay easy and enjoyable.
Sustainability is also part of the home, with rainwater collection, recycling facilities, water-efficient taps and showers, towel reuse, insulated walls and ceilings, double-glazed windows and green spaces.
Whether you're chasing fresh powder and first tracks in winter, enjoying long summer days on Lake Jindabyne, or simply looking for a beautiful place to relax and reconnect with family and friends, The Mountain House offers the perfect home base. Come home after a day of exploring, put your feet up, enjoy a good coffee or a BBQ on the patio, and settle into the comfort of your own private mountain retreat.

Spacious, modern and comfortable

Modern property, easy to access. Some small annoyances with amenities (oven knob broken, dishwasher runner missing a wheel, remote for bedroom TV missing); but overall a great stay in a nice house that worked well for two families.

Very modern spacious house, walking distance to shops and easy drive to the snow fields. My only concern was that there were no cleaning products supplied, just the basics such as 2 dishwashing tablets, 1 dishcloth and 1 extra bin liner for 7 people for a 7 night stay. We even had to go and buy BBQ cleaning products as we would've been charged extra if we did not leave it clean. Other then that we had a comfortable stay at the Mountain House.
