With an abundance of picture windows and skylights, The Gingerbread House offers sundrenched living on its second storey. Light the wood burning fireplace after a day on the mountain, fill the place with toasty warmth, and snuggle up on the couch. You’ll have a Smart TV and DVD player on hand for entertainment, and complimentary WIFI so you can post photos of your epic day on the powder.
On a summer getaway to check out the biking and hiking scene, open the sliding glass door and soak up the sun on the deck. Enjoy a morning barista style coffee from your fully equipped kitchen with the breeze blowing on your face.
Three bedrooms here at The Gingerbread House comfortably sleep up to six guests. A bathroom and laundry combo, with the convenience of a separate toilet, completes the set up for your stay. There’s even a drying room for your ski gear at the end of the day!
Tucked away on a quiet street with a grassy reserve across the road, The Gingerbread House is a great place to holiday in itself, but we know you must be in town for at least a bit of adventure! Enjoy action-packed days on the slopes of Turoa, just 20 minutes drive away, or make the trip to Whakapapa in just under an hour.
On days when you need a rest, take a short three-minute drive into the village and visit the shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars, or walk to the Powderkeg in about the same time.

Was good time we have no power for 24 hr Wen we left there was no power but the coz weather but no alternative to use in property We recommend to have alternative to use during black out .We spent our last nite with power.
