Monte da Cardela Nova is located between the Uplands of the Melides Mountain and the award-winning Blue Coast, in the very heart of the Alentejo coast and just an hour away from Lisbon. The pristine beaches and inviting sands make this the perfect place in which to recharge your batteries, far from the stress of day to day life and in close contact with nature.
This part of Portugal is famous for having plenty of sunshine and a pleasantly warm climate; the average temperature is around 17ºC but can often climb to 40ºC in the summer months.
The closest beaches are literally just a five-minute drive away and despite their proximity to some of the area's best known beaches, such as Floodgate, they are more secluded and peaceful even during the peak summer holiday season.
Recognized as being very healthy, the typically Mediterranean local cuisine is prepared with fresh natural ingredients and regional delicacies.
The property comprises 1.5 hectares of land, mostly consisting of pine and cork oak groves and orchards.

We spent four nights at the house and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Miguel was super helpful on check in and helped us arrange restaurant reservations, horse rides, etc. The house is a great place to relax and watch the sunset after a fun day at beach or touring.
