♻️ Three Tiny House-style cottages that comfortably accommodate both long and short stays.
♻️ Rainwater-fed pool, treated by ionization and heated.
♻️ Social spaces, showers, recreation areas, and a massage bed in the garden.
Our goal is to minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible; we love living in harmony with nature and strive to reflect that love on our property. Our gardens feature many fruit trees and native vegetation from the Atlantic Forest, the biome found here in Morro de São Paulo; We have rainwater reservoirs and use electricity generated by solar power. We separate organic waste for soil fertilization and send plastics, glass, and paper to a local recycling project.
The property features over 1,000 m² of protected vegetation, a gourmet area, and a 14,000-liter swimming pool filled with rainwater treated using an ionizer.
Balaio da Yolanda Ecovila Boutique offers our guests three chalets nestled in the Atlantic Forest. These are historic structures that have been recently modernized with the utmost respect for the community and in an environmentally responsible manner.
♻️ Ambar Chalet: Accommodates a couple (2 people) and is fully equipped for both long and short stays.
♻️ Capim Dourado Chalet: Accommodates a couple (2 people) and is equipped for medium and short stays.
♻️ Yolanda’s Cottage: The largest cottage in the ecovillage, featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms (1 suite). Rates negotiable.
Our decor follows a boho style, with rustic furniture and fine finishes.
A palette of neutral colors that invite relaxation and allow the Atlantic Forest to take center stage.
This is our little corner, our refuge, our home—your home, too—for the plants, the animals, and especially for Yolanda, our little cat who was once in a vulnerable situation here on the island and adopted us.
And as our way of honoring, thanking, and acknowledging all the wonderful things nature provides us, we named our Ecovillage “Balaio da Yolanda.”
We’d like to invite you to come enjoy our little piece of paradise here in Morro de São Paulo with us.
Guests have access to the cottages during their stay and lifetime access to our garden.
Morro de São Paulo is a village with uphill and downhill paths, stairs, and slopes. To help our guests travel lighter, we provide snorkels, water shoes, sarongs, towels, hats, and beach bags.
