About this cabin rental
This may be our favorite cabin yet! We again hand crafted each piece inside and out, so take your time and look around. While you look at all the decorations, know that they came from old barns, attics, trips out west and from family and friends. Everything has a story behind it and we invite you to share yours. The Guest Book is a special treat to read and hear about all of your adventures and we like to think that we’ve become a small part of your memory here.
Red sleeps 10, with 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 3 additional beds in the large loft area. The main floor is an open plan with the great room flowing into the full kitchen for all your gathering needs. Or take the group outside to the fire pit area for bonfires and stories.
Our cabin is set out in the forest of Central WI and the closest neighbor is about a football field away through the woods, but we are only a few miles from several lakes for fishing, boating and swimming. We also have access now to the hundreds of miles of the best ATV trails the mid-west. Hiking, biking, golf and then as the seasons change, explore the cranberry marshes, apple orchards and get ready for the ski hills and snowmobile trails!

Enjoyed our stay. Only complaints were that there was a bed in the loft that had been slept in and not changed and that the temp was 58 degrees when we arrived late at night and it took a long time for temp to rise due to floor heating. Would be nice to freshen up cabin before guests arrive (there were dead flies on counter in bathroom in loft) and to adjust the temp. Other than that we enjoyed the cabin and location

My group of friends stayed for a long weekend at the red roof cabin. It is quite private and quiet, and only a short drive to Black River Falls for fun and great food. We have stayed here before and will be happy to stay again.
