The bright and spacious apartment is situated in the village of Pianello in an ancient complex of stone built houses many decorated with antique frescoe walls. These typical village houses are built in natural stone on the side of the hill all overlooking the beautiful Lake Como.
The luxury apartment offers rustic design with all modern facilities having been completely refurbished in July 2010 and offers every possible convenience for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.Wireless connection with router quikly and without limits.
A reserved parking space is provided at the base of the property and some stony steps lead to the entrance to the apartment (a level, winding path of approximately 40 meters).
An open plan living/dining area with working fireplace and stunning views across the lake. Leading from the living area is access to a large delightful part covered sunny terrace with views across the town to the lake beyond.There is a practical and fully fitted kitchen with new appliances and small eating area overlooking an enclosed courtyard.There is a beautiful king sized bedroom which is light and fresh with lake views. Next to the bedroom is a small, practical dressing room with plenty of storage.The bathroom is light with all modern fittings.

We had a great time enjoying the breakfast and dinners on the terrace, while admiring the view. We liked the feeling of the house, which felt cozy and welcoming.

Manola was very welcoming and greeted us with on arrival to make sure we had all we needed along with complimentary Prosecco and cakes.
The apartment is quite high up on the hillside, so road access is up a few narrow streets and bends. There is also a climb up some fairly steep stone steps from the parking space. The plus side is the great view. You can see right across the upper part of the lake and south towards Bellagio. The lake and the mountains are stunningly beautiful and the vista changes constantly with the weather and light.
Manola has set up the property with great care and attention to detail making it a very comfortable and uniquely special place to stay.

"The apartment was well equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the range of maps and information on the surrounding area, which saved a lot of time. The views from the terrace are extraordinary- the lake and mountains which are beautiful at any time of day.Lastly the owners, Manola and Pino were extremely friendly and helpful, and although we didn''t need to contact them whilst we were at the apartment, I was confident that they would have been available if needed.(Also the neighbours were very kind, leaving us produce on the doorstep!)"
