SEASIDE COTTAGE-LOC. FROM 090426 to 140526- LOC MAT. BEACH

The unit is located on the best part of the most beautiful beach we have ever visited. The hosts were extremely nice and even invited for drinks and dinner one night. The unit is as described and very clean. The kitchen could need a bit of updating, but nothing that influences the overall great experience.

This was the final stop on our journey (and our most anticipated). We stayed in Deshaies to experience the “Death in Paradise” primary filming location. The property was a little haven to rest, have coffee in the AM and just chill from a busy day. It was very comfortable, great showers (inside and outside), awesome eating space outside and wonderful owners. We did not use them, but also has a small private pool and hot tub. Both looked nice. There is a private entrance to the beach and only minutes to walk there. This was very cool! The property was perfectly located to go in to town, the Botanical Gardens, the Zoo and to several beaches. We also walked to a little gas station for food/beer and a burger from Joe’s food truck. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend. It was a perfect end stay to our trip to Guadeloupe!

We stayed in one of the newly built Gites with two rooms and a small kitchen. Perfect for a family of four. Great to have the small pool for the kids. The owners really took care of us, although we don't speak any French, and they very little English, so communication was a bit difficult at times. We were even invited to dinner one night with the family, so nice of them! We can highly recomend this place.

We had a wonderful welcome and an excellent holiday in this beautifully situated 2-bed house. The beach was only a 3 minute walk at the bottom of the garden and Deshaies was a 5 minute drive if that. We were also close to the beach restaurants which we ate at a few times. There is plenty to do and see within close proximity of the cabin. We had rented a car so were off out and about most days with the afternoon/evening on the beach. There are also plenty of walking trails in close proximity. All in all we had a wonderful time and would recommend anyone who wants a local experinece to stay here.
