Villa 'Casa Flores 047' with Sea Views, Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning

Pros: Villa was perfect, pool was perfect and the host was perfect. I have never before rented a villa that matched the description so perfectly. Not only that but the beds were very comfortable, the pillows were good and all the appliances and cutlery/crockery were spotless. The villa was spotless on arrival. The one request we had was dealt with by Cristina, the host, immediately. Almayate itself has a good supermarket, five or six bars and restaurants and is only 2.5km outside of Torre del Mar (about 8 euro in a taxi). Everything provided in the villa was of good quality and as I think I am right in saying mostly purchased from IKEA as the owners are Scandinavian. If I were to return to that area this villa would be my place of choice, hill and all. Bare in mind that the hill is the reason the villa has a great sea view. Cons: These points are not complaints, just observations. A microwave is required in the kitchen, we had a baby and it would be ideal for heating baby food etc plus snacks. The outside patio area is well shaded but on a muggy day can get quite stuffy so a ceiling fan in that area would be a godsend. Finally, removal of the hill leading to the villa would be ideal, lol, although at 71 and suffering from COPD I did manage it, but with shopping in tow it can be arduous, but then again that's what taxis are for. The serious observations were mentioned to the host Cristina, who said they will be passed on to the owners for possible future improvements.
