Dream family holidays with pool, sustainable and often cheaper than a hotel

Lovely property in a beautiful location, highly recommended. Positives: Excellent location at the western edge of Black Forest, amidst the vineyards. Very good property, well maintained, and with all the necessary items for making the stay easy and comfortable. Full of light and air, from sunrise to sunset. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped for the stays. An additional attraction is the well-maintained swimming pool and a personal gym. Ample space for parking. Very approachable and kind owners are available at any time for any help. Improvement suggestions: Kitchenware is quite old, esp cooking pan etc, and so is the washing machine. Some extra pillows could have been helpful. Bathroom door did not lock/key was missing. Kitchen ventiliation might be difficult during rain/snow as it depends on a window above the gastop. Swimming pool water is bit cold (28deg) for a comfortable swim. But overall, still very good stay and highly recommended.

We (my young family and I) stayed in this holiday apartment in August 2016. It is a beautiful house and we all loved the swimming pool. The apartment is located on a quiet road and we went walking in the hills and vineyards from the front door. The apartment was spotless, the host family on holiday at the time but the communication was great and our arrival and departure was incredibly easy. Thank you for a great stay. We definitely hope to be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bird's Nest Apartment. It is clean, comfortable, and the pool was amazing for our kids. The apartment is situated in a perfect location to branch out on day trips in the area. Colmar, Freiburg, and the small towns in the region were so charming. A vacation we will always remember!
